Meet The Team:

Brian Wall:

Brian was born in Dos Palos, California, and he grew up about a mile from Highway 33.  He graduated from Fresno State with a BA in Philosophy, but after discovering that the job market for Philosophy majors was on a downward trend, he pursued a career in education.  Brian has spent most of his career in a tie, proudly serving students as a teacher, high school principal and assistant superintendent. He loves to travel and when not pedaling on The Empty Seat, Brian spends time backpacking in the Sierras.  Although Brian is typically uncomfortable with people talking behind his back, he is enjoying his role as "host" of the Empty Seat. His ultimate goal is to make it to Mongolia but, until then, Brian is content to just pedal, meet new people, and watch the project grow.

Tyler Wall:

Tyler was born and raised in Davis, California, "Bike Capitol of America," naturally, he likes bikes of all kinds! He graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts. He has since been working in all facets of the video production industry. He is constantly searching for great stories and original ideas to share with others and began developing Brian's concept for The Empty Seat soon after the two had initially discussed it. He has a deep urge to travel the world, learn from, and share the stories of the people he meets along the way. The Empty Seat has the potential to fulfill all those things and has become the perfect side project for him.
